Abstract
Aiming at the mitigating effect of the damping groove structure of the port plate on the oil backflow and pressure overshoot in the working process of the axial piston pump, a dynamic model of the double compound axial piston pump is established based on the flow area model of the triangular damping groove, and the influence of the structural parameters of the inlet and outlet triangular groove of the port plate on the pressure and flow characteristics of the piston chamber is analyzed. The results show that, as the flow area between the inlet triangular groove and the piston chamber increases, the positive overshoot pressure and the dead volume residual pressure of the piston chamber in the closed pre-release pressure zone decrease, and the oil backflow from the piston chamber to the low pressure area decreases. The phase angle of oil backflow from the high pressure area to the piston chamber decreases with the increase of the length of the outlet triangular groove, and the peak value of oil backflow decreases. The peak value of oil backflow increases with the increase of the width and depth of the outlet triangular groove, while the phase angle of the peak decreases. Therefore, a reasonable configuration of the structural parameters of the triangular groove of the port plate can effectively alleviate the pressure overshoot and oil backflow, and this paper provides a basis for the optimization of the triangular groove.
