Abstract
Complex numbers are important in a variety of engineering areas. It is widely used in thermodynamics, mechanics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and some other areas like that. It has a history of over 1200 years; since 780, when it first came into the platform of math, it has been supplied by over 10 mathematicians. Now, the complex number is a complicated subject which refers to many different subjects in higher mathematics. The paper will mainly discuss several quintessential instances of complex numbers, including formation and relevant operations on the set ℂ, while further explaining the complex conjugation involved thereof. The paper covers the algebraic formation of complex numbers, as well as discuss in detail arithmetic operations of complex numbers, on complex numbers, in this research paper to reveal the intrinsic beauty of the world of complex numbers. We will also apply two examples and their solutions to make the point more specific.
