Abstract
Aiming at the problem that the cluster head selection of clustering routing protocol in wireless sensor networks is unreasonable, resulting in uneven network load and shortened life cycle, a cluster head selection algorithm based on Levy flight Butterfly Optimization Algorithm is proposed. Firstly, based on the Butterfly Optimization Algorithm, the Levy flight operator is introduced to improve the search ability of the Butterfly Optimization Algorithm. In the process of cluster head selection, a new fitness function is designed according to the two factors of node residual energy and distance between nodes. The improved Butterfly Optimization Algorithm is used to improve the random problem of cluster head selection and comprehensively select the better cluster head. Our method considers the factors such as node energy and distance comprehensively. In contrast, the simulation results prove to have better effect in the lifetime and energy consumption.
