Abstract
The domestic urban traffic pressure and road congestion are serious. The vigorous development of public transport is undoubtedly an effective measure to solve urban traffic problems without increasing or expanding roads. Among them, the bus signal priority control system is one of the main ways to improve the service level and operation efficiency of public transport. However, due to the complex urban traffic road environment in China and a large number of non-motor vehicles and pedestrians, it is difficult to achieve the precise positioning and detection of public transport vehicles. Therefore, the research on the bus signal priority control system in China is difficult to be applied to practical projects. Therefore, this paper puts forward the concept of a precise bus signal priority detection system and improves it from three aspects: the acquisition of a precise lane-level bus signal priority control area, the high-precision positioning of public transport vehicles, and the optimal detection location setting of bus signal priority control area. In order to achieve the high-precision positioning of public transport vehicles in the bus signal priority control area, the optimal detection position of the bus signal priority control area is set to achieve the precise control of bus signal priority. Based on Beidou high-precision positioning and UAV aerial photography, this paper proposes a method to obtain an accurate lane level bus signal priority control area. The experimental results show that the method can obtain an accurate lane level area with an error of less than 5 cm.
