Abstract
In view of the mixed use of the straight right lane and the bus lane at the level signalized intersection of urban roads, the influence on the intersection after the establishment of the bus lane is analyzed with the saturation as the judgment index. Taking the intersection of Jiangsu Road and Zangdaxi road in Lhasa City as an example, this paper quantitatively analyzes the optimized HCM saturation flow rate model based on the actual observation data and the stop line method based on the signal phase based on the actual observation data to calculate the capacity of the intersection respectively, and then compares the saturation of the actual flow observed in the field and the flow without bus lane simulated by VISSIM. It is considered that the establishment of bus lane at the right straight lane will reduce the traffic capacity of the intersection by about 2% - 5%, which can be ignored in the actual situation, but it is not recommended to mix the right straight lane and bus lane in comprehensive consideration of administrative costs.
