Abstract
Power grid equipment is an important structure to maintain the stability of power transportation and is the core foundation to ensure the economic and social benefits of power engineering. To improve the stability and security of power system operation, a method of laser rust removal on the insulation surface of power grid equipment is studied according to the insulation characteristics of power grid equipment. Firstly, the mechanical characteristics of rust adhesion on the insulation surface of the power grid equipment are analyzed, and the mechanism of laser rust removal is obtained. Then, based on this, the relevant parameters of laser rust removal are determined, and the design of the laser removal method for the equipment rust layer is completed. Finally, the effect and feasibility of the designed laser de-rusting method for the external insulation surface of the power grid equipment are tested through comparative experiments. The experimental results show that the peak voltage on the insulation surface reaches a stable state at the fifth laser pulse, while the peak voltage of the traditional method is not stable at the tenth laser pulse. The average mass loss of the proposed method is 0.3G less than that of the traditional method before and after laser rust removal, which shows that the laser rust removal method designed in this paper is efficient and practical. It can remove the rust in-depth and minimize the impact on the quality of the original base material of the power grid equipment. The research of this method can provide technical reference for the equipment maintenance of power systems and improve the stability and efficiency of power system operation.
