Abstract
In this paper, a Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) indoor Visible Light Communication (VLC) system based on UCD-BD is proposed by combining the Uniform Channel Decomposition (UCD) and Block Diagonalization (BD) algorithms with a nonlinear Decision Feedback receiver (DFE). The system firstly uses the BD algorithm to eliminate the Co-Channel Interference (CCI) between users, and secondly, the user's equivalent channel matrix is decomposed by UCD. To further improve the performance of Bit Error Rate (BER), different field of view for different optical receivers of the same user terminal are used, and the effects of different field of view on the performance of the BER system are analyzed. Simulation proves that the scheme significantly improves the overall BER of the system.
