11 November 1991 Photorefractive spatial light modulators and their applications to optical computing

Abstract
This paper describes photorefractive self-pump phase conjugation in BaTiO3and multi-wave mixing in Bi12SiO20 spatial light modulators, and furtherly utilizes these systems to impletment optical image storage, wavelength conversion, image subtraction and optical image shifting. The operational principle and experimental results are also presented.
