Abstract
Vibrational characteristics of a model of NASA's GAW-2 airfoil are studied computationally and experimentally. The computational procedures are based on the Finite Element Method. The experimental procedures are based on the Laser Hologram Interferometry methods; more specifically, the methods of stroboscopic Heterodyne Hologram Interferometry and time- average Electro-Optic Holography are used. Comparison of the computational results with the experimental results shows good correlation.
