Abstract
Fourier Transform Raman and optical studies of the crystalline hydrates films WO3(DOT)n(H2O) (n equals 2; 1/3) and deuterated ones were carried out. In comparison with amorphous WO3 films the different IR shift of the optical electrochromic (EC) absorption band for crystalline hydrates with different content of water molecules was found. The deuteration allowed us to assign the band at 806 cm-1 in FT Raman spectra of crystalline hydrate WO3(DOT)1/3(H2O) to W-O stretching vibrations in WO6-octahedra and the band at 670 cm-1 to the same vibrations in tungsten-oxygen octahedra with a terminal oxygen atom W equals O and an opposite coordinated water molecule.
