Abstract
A dual output optically pumped FIR laser system for plasma diagnostics has been developed and operated at184um and 433um. Powers in excess of 300mW per channel have been achieved at 184um with amplitudestabilities of better than +1- 2 %. The two FIR output beams can be tuned to provide intermediate differencefrequencies in the range 500kHz to 1.5MHz with stabilities of +/- 10kHz. The system and test results will bepresented.
