Abstract

A computerized surgical laser system is created. It is designed to function both at the basic wavelength of 1.06 micrometers which exhibits photocoagulatory effect on the biological tissue and at the additional wavelength of 1.32 micrometers which has a cutting action, similar to that of CO₂ lasers. 200 operation have been performed of patients suffering from 22 diseases.
