Abstract

The clinical results of photodynamic therapy of chronic maxillary sinusitis have been demonstrated. Obtained results show that the photodynamic therapy is effective in comparison with conservative methods of treatment of the disease. Diffusion of Methylene Blue in the mucous tissue has been studied in vitro and value of the diffusion coefficient of Methylene Blue in the tissue has been estimated at 20°C as (4.8±2.9)×10^-7 cm²/sec.
