Abstract
The paper discusses the challenges of using radio-over-fiber systems to distribute multi-gigabit-per-second wireless signals at mm-wave frequencies. We propose possible solutions to the challenges, and demonstrate the potential of simple radio-over-fiber system architectures to support multi-standard wireless communication at data speeds exceeding 14Gbps using the 60 GHz band.
