Abstract
In the present work, the influence of the terahertz laser radiation at the frequencies of 1,15 and 3,68 THz on protein was studied. An increase in the optical density of irradiated samples on their absorption bands was revealed with the help of UV spectroscopy. This is an evidence of conformational changes in the protein molecule.
