Abstract
There is usually range inherent problem in target detecting of PD (Pulse Doppler) radar. At the present time, Onedimension method and Residues' difference look-up table method have been mature. An improved algorithm for range ambiguity resolution of PD radar based on the One-dimension algorithm is brought up in this paper. The new algorithm has advantages of faster operation and better real-time performance over the One-dimension algorithm. The simulation and result of practice for four target range ambiguity resolution indicates that the new algorithm only takes 52% time of that of the one-dimension method which validates the high efficiency of the method mentioned in this paper.
