20 September 1996 Wavelength control precision using F-P filter in a WDM or FDM system

Abstract
In this paper, wavelength control precision will be discussed when crosstalk is considered in a WDM or FDM optical fiber communication system. The control precision of an example, 16 * 2.488 Gb/s system with channel spacing (200 GHz) and the utilized F-P filter with FSR (6000 GHz) and F (300), will be calculated.
