Abstract
This paper presents the digital watermarking based on modification of image pixels with two new concepts to enhance the accuracy of extracted watermark. First, the watermark is embedded into a new embedding channel, having a lower pixels variation in the CIELab color space. Second, adaptive Gaussian Filter is implemented with the original pixel prediction in the watermark extraction process. With our proposed method, the performance of the watermarking scheme can be improved. Sets of experiment are carried out to verify our concepts. The results show the improved performance in terms of NC, at equivalent quality of watermarked image, compared to previous methods. The results also show the improved robustness against various types of attack.
