Abstract
The edge extraction is the key in the research on the application of the machine vision in the detection area. Classical edge detection algorithm's anti-noise performance is poor. The traditional morphological edge detection algorithm has good anti-noise performance, but it have a bad edge performance. In this paper, Multi-structure element morphology edge detection algorithm was used for the bottle mouth and the bottle body image edge detection. And, it was compared with classical edge detction and traditional morphological edge detection operator. The experimental results show that the gray-scale morphological edge detection algorithm is efficient, has strong anti-noise capability, improve the detection accuracy.
