Abstract
Nowadays, photocopiers are commonly available as part of the reprinting or duplication of documents particularly reference books. Therefore, it could be a major setback for the publishers and the authors to retail the books to the readers. Since the field of photometry and colorimetry are advancing in terms of research, it is discovered that the colours comprise of luminance values that are analogous to grayscale intensities ranging from white to black. By exploiting the luminance from the colour properties, grayscale photocopying is greatly discouraged when the grayscale printed copies or grayscale photocopies are scarcely visible of the contents.
