Abstract
This paper describes wave-optics Monte Carlo simulation results to asses the impact of laser guide star wavefront sensor nonlinearity with elongated sodium beacons on the residual wavefront error for the Thirty Meter Telescope Narrow Field InfraRed Adaptive Optics System, which is a laser guide star multi-conjugate adaptive optics system intended to provide near-diffraction limited performance in the near infrared over a 30 arcsec diameter field of view.
