Abstract
Vibration measurements of high-voltage insulators (bushings) of Moscow "Yuzhnaya" electric distribution substation have been performed by CW Doppler lidar based on 1.5 μm fiber laser with 1 W output. We observed sonic frequency vibrations of bushings in the range from ~ 1μm to several mm at the distances up to 40 m. Future development of the technique is discussed.
