Abstract
In this work a mesh-growing surface reconstruction method adapted for noisy and sparse data is presented. The method realizes an interpolating growing model and introduces the Complex Propagation scheme that integrates both inertial and tangential propagation terms. The features and basic functionality of the method are described. A number of experiments are carried out on 3D ultrasound data received from 2D tracked free-hand ultrasound and sequential triggered scanning systems.
