Abstract
Here we describe our latest results on compact on-site Raman probes, especially for medical applications and environmental sensing. By doing so novel Raman fiber probes for in-vivo tissue screening e.g. intraoperative monitoring of the artheriosclerotic plaque in living rabbits will be presented. Furthermore, Raman sensing concepts for an on-site monitoring of biogenic gases or drugs will be introduced.
