abstract

In this paper a beamforming network concept based on photonic technology for future array antenna systems for SAR applications is reported, covering from the optical signal distribution to the antenna, the true-time-delay control of the signal for each antenna element by using integrated photonics (PICs) both in transmission and reception, with broadband characteristics. © (2015) COPYRIGHT Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
