Abstract
Hydroxyl group is important for the sensitivity and selectivity of never agents sensors. A new hydrogen bond acidic polymer poly(3,4-dihydroxythiophene) are synthesized from EDOT(ethylene dioxythiophene) by two steps. This material are characterized by UV-vis spectra and FT-IR spectra. The polythiophene polymers with hydroxyl groups are obtained. Composite materials are prepared as films on QCMs (Quartz Crystal Microbalance) and quartz substrates by Spin-coating. The result shows that poly(3,4-dihydroxythiophene) is a sensitive material with good selectivity and adsorbability to organophosphorous vapors.
