A method to reconstruct a chirped quasi-phase-matching grating by using a discrete layer-peeling algorithm is demonstrated. The coupling distribution and grating structure can be synthesized from the transmission spectrum. Experimental verification shows that the method can reconstruct the grating distribution efficiently.
