Abstract
Taking 125th regiment of the 7th Agricultural Shi as example in Xinjiang, an evaluation model of soil fertility was established by using GIS and mathematical method. Chart of soil fertility information was build in 125 regiments, based on these, established a cotton fertilization recommendation support decision system, the system can realize fertilization recommendation, fertilization consultation and prescription, making GIS chart, soil fertility resource analysis. The results as follow: The soil fertility in this area was mainly middle level, and the ratio of soil area with high, middle and low fertility amount to 30.5%, 41.5% and 28.0% respectively. Main reasons that affect the full utilization of soil fertility were soil fertility input.
