Abstract
A tunable narrow linewidth erbium doped fibre laser is reported. Wavelength definition and agility are achieved using a novel electro optically tuned "continuous fibre" bandpass filter. Linewidths down to 0. 03 nm and tunability over 20 nm have been observed.
