Abstract
It is said, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” So what is the communication value of a video showing the intent of a research project? We do not know if the value of a video can be estimated by a word count but we can say, with authority, it represents a powerful instructional tool. Using video footage and aerial imagery from an unmanned aerial vehicle, coupled with narration, to document field research, sponsored by the Mississippi Corn Production Board, we created an exciting tool that showed growers the results of research going in the field.
