Abstract
There are two types of commuting, one is commuting for work, and the other is commuting for study. Primary school students need to consider not only their own factors but also family factors when commuting to and from school. The travel health of primary school students is also related to the choice of travel mode, so it is meaningful to study their travel mode choice behaviour. Based on the travel data of primary school students obtained by Beijing Transportation Development Institute, this paper determines the factors such as travel time and establishes the MNL model. The SPSS software is used to calibrate and test the parameters of the model, and the results show that the model is ideal. The article proposes a healthy travel index, and calculates the overall health of primary school students under different travel structures based on this index. The final conclusion: the greater the proportion of primary school students who travel alone, the better the overall health. Finally, on the basis of this research, the corresponding suggestions for the healthy travel of primary school students are put forward.
