Abstract
Three-dimensional numerical investigation was carried out on array circle cooling key equipment of the hot rolling to understand the flow characteristics for the diverse construction and process parameters. Results show that inside medium velocity of initial large round tube is uniform, and there is no obvious difference in the length direction. The maximum flow velocity is at the outlet of the small circular nozzle of the manifold, and the uniformity of medium velocity of each array circle nozzle along the width direction is good. The pressure in the transition chamber decreases but not obviously after the horizontal partition is added. When the space of intermediate cavity is large enough, streamline ring will be formed in the highly dense tube.
