Abstract
Control and management of the production schedule and capacity of the traditional sheet-metal and the its manufacturing industry is extensiveness due to the poor level of fine management of the sheet-metal workshop and the unsatisfied transmission of the data and information, which effect the improvement and the high-quality development of the sheet-metal workshop/enterprise. To meet the development of the modern sheet-metal workshop, a discrete digital sheet-metal workshop is constructed based on the workshop layout with shortest logistics route. The discrete digital sheet-metal workshop processes the digital management based on the manufacturing execution system, digital programming based on model, and numerical control machining based on parametric process library, which has important demonstration effect and guiding signification to the further construction of the new type sheet-metal workshop and the transformation and upgrading of the traditional sheet-metal workshop.
