Abstract
The ability to make the viewer perceive the distance from the speaker by voice is called “vocal distance perception”, which is one of the essential skills for a voice actor. “Rehearsal style practice” is one of the most effective practice methods for acquiring and mastering vocal distance perception. In this paper, we propose “VR rehearsal-style practice” that performs rehearsal style practice in a VR space. We also show that VR rehearsal-style practice is effective.
