Abstract

As the main infrastructure of the power grid, the electrical power communication network has an urgent need for digitalization, and the digital twin technology can support the digital operation of various services of the electrical power communication network. Based on the actual production needs of electricity, this paper divides the digital twin system into five layers: the physical layer, data perception layer, data governance layer, functional model layer, and model application layer. In order to achieve practical application, the five-layers model is studied based on actual cases, and then the key technologies required to build a digital twin model are introduced. Finally, two examples of optical cable resource management and intelligent analysis of communication power failure and remote management are shown.
