Abstract
This paper introduces the design and production process of a full-time four-wheel drive Baja racing car that conforms to the rules of the China Society of Automotive Engineering Baja Competition (2022), including: the determination of design objectives and whole vehicle parameters, as well as the design, production and verification of the frame system, transmission system, suspension system, wheel side mechanism, braking system, steering system, electrical system, etc. CATIA is used to design and assemble the whole vehicle, using simulation After nearly 100 hours of field dynamic testing, the design was optimized and improved according to the actual situation, resulting in a 4WD racing car with high reliability, stability, performance and power.
