Abstract
In batch transportation of refined oil, it has faced the problem of oil mixing. Accurate calculation of oil mixing and determination of oil mixing location will help realize oil mixing management on site and maximize the economic benefits of refined oil transportation. In this paper, we propose a method to modify the one-dimensional oil mixing model and combine the production data to realize the oil mixing calculation for refined oil. The method is applied to an actual pipeline, and the calculation results are compared with the Austin-Palfrey formula and the actual mixing results. The results show that the method can predict the amount of mixed oil more accurately and can be applied to any refined oil pipeline, providing a reference for the batch transportation of refined oil.
