Abstract
The disassembly of scrapped railway wagons is an important work for the recycling of scrapped railway materials. Usually, scrap railway wagons are cut by flame. The cost of flame cutting equipment is low and flame cutting is the only effective means of cutting thick metal plates (40mm). However, it has its shortcomings in sheet cutting. Compared with plasma, the heat affected zone of flame cutting is much larger and the thermal deformation is relatively large. In order to solve these problems, the railway scrappage truck is disassembled safe and efficient, based on the concept of green manufacturing, this paper puts forward the rail scrap boxcar plasma cutting robot automation cutting technology, solves the problems in traditional removal methods of artificial flame cutting, improve the disassembly efficiency and automation of railway freight cars.
