Abstract
Objective: To study the change characteristics and rules of surface albedo of alpine desert plant communities, for revealing the influence of vegetation status and other factors on surface albedo in alpine desert ecosystem, will provide remote sensing monitoring basis for desert ecosystem monitoring. Methods: Based on the analysis of surface albedo data and the survey data of alpine desert plant community in Qaidam Basin, the spatio-temporal variation of surface albedo of alpine desert plant community was discussed by using statistical methods and multi-scale analysis methods, the relationship between plant community characteristics and surface albedo was revealed. Results: (1) According to the change trend of surface albedo, six kinds of surface albedo can be analyzed in the order of near-infrared white-sky albedo > near-infrared black-sky albedo > short-wave black-sky albedo > visible white-sky albedo > visible black-sky albedo, with near-infrared albedo > short-wave albedo > visible albedo. White-sky albedo > Black-sky albedo. (2) The surface albedo characteristics of different plant communities were as follows: Poacynum hendersonii and Phragmites australis had the highest surface albedo (0.244). The surface albedo of Sympegma regelii desert community was the lowest (0.082). The average surface albedo of the alpine desert community was 0.202. Conclusion: near-infrared black-sky albedo and near-infrared white-sky albedo cannot reflect the type of alpine desert plant community, while BSA_v and WSA_v can be used as the representative indexes of surface albedo of alpine desert plant community.
