Abstract
To integrate multispectral technology for high-precision spectral analysis of insulator pollution and aging, it is essential to develop a more accurate model for insulator detection to acquire precise position information of the insulators. This paper presents a novel insulator region detection model based on YOLOv5, which addresses the challenges of insulator multispectral image alignment and target detection. The model is designed to detect insulators on insulator multispectral images and extract their position information, thereby laying the foundation for evaluating the state of insulators using multispectral images.
