Abstract
The formation and curing of slabstock foam is studied with the use of Factor Analysis. The Successive Average Orthogonalization (SAO) is used for data decomposition and the Iterative Target Transformation Factor Analysis (ITTFA) is employed for the transformation of eigenvectors to approximated component spectra. Foams with similar formulation but different types of surfactant were analyzed. Most of the previously assigned bands were resolved.
