Abstract
Self-modulation behaviour has been observedin GaAs Gunn oscillators operating at W-band, leadingto nanosecond pulses of relatively high peak power.Pulse repetition rates and pulse-widths can be variedreproducibly as a function of bias and bias termination,and there is evidence for semi-chaotic behaviour incertain regimes.
