Abstract
One of the basic inverse problems of stereo photogrammetry is solved by means of an algebraic algorithm, the combined optimization procedure, which is largely independent of the quality of initial values. The whole algorithm together with its theoretical background and the computation procedure are described in the paper. The result is the relative orientation of stereo pairs, proved by some examples.
