Abstract
This work reports and illustrates the application of morphological and topological algorithms to enhance sketch contours on infrared photographies of wood paintings. the procedure involves two steps: the application of a morphological chain to enhance the desired sketches, followed by a topological chain to 'clean up' the undesired artifacts generated at the first step.
