Abstract

The effect of doping with CuI and NiI₂ on non-linear optical properties of CdI₂ crystals was studied. The change of non-linear optical properties of these crystals caused by the ordering of admixture centers was investigated. The ordering was achieved by the interaction of the orienting magnetic field and the membrane oscillations of the lattice with the admixture ions located in the inter-layer space.
