Abstract
Partition is a kind of fragmentizing operations for spatial data global relationships. First, the partition operations spatial relationships are presented, i.e. spatial data horizontal fragmentation, spatial data vertical fragmentation, spatial data hybrid fragmentation, spatial data induced fragmentation, clipping fragmentation based on region, union fragmentation based on regions, clipping-union fragmentation based on region, clipping fragmentation based on non-geometric attributions and region, union fragmentation based on non-geometric attributions and region, and clipping-union fragmentation based on non-geometric attributions and region. Then, the validity of the result is checked according to their ingenerated characteristics. Finally a conclusion is given.
