A mobile molecular Doppler lidar at an eye-safe 355nm wavelength based on double-edge technique for wind
measurement from 10 km to 40 km altitude is being built in Hefei, China. As the key component of the Doppler lidar, the
receiver subsystem is designed elaborately. A triple Fabry-Perot etalon is used as the frequency discriminator whose
parameters are optimized. The thermal and mechanics stabilities are considered during the receiver design. The designed
receiver system is very compact and stable, which could be embedded into a standard 19 inch socket bench with 21 inch
length. With this new kind of receiver, the optical alignment is easy and the stability of the etalon transmittance, which is
of great importance to the wind measurement, is expected to be improved.

A novel electronic travel aid for the blind based on stereo vision was proposed. The device has the features of road deviation detection, obstacles detection and traffic lights recognition. Road edges extraction is realized by Canny filter and Hough transfer. Road deviation detection is implemented by judging the position and angle of the road edge. Traffic lights recognition is completed using template matching, and obstacles detection is realized using a self-adaptive threshold determination algorithm. The correct recognition rate of traffic lights is 100%. The correct detection rate of road edge is 92% and that of obstacles is 96%.

The Reflective Four-Sided Pyramid can be used to divide one light beam into four beams in image space and to achieve the joint purpose of the four CCDs. It also causes the vignetting effect in the joint areas of the image. The calculation of the vignetting distribution caused by the Reflective Four-Sided Pyramid can give us the theoretical basis to guide the further work of image stitching and image luminance processing.

Due to the high measurement complexity in subjective evaluation methods, objective strategy is an effective approach to measure the visibility threshold (VT) between left and right views in asymmetric stereoscopic images. In this paper, a novel objective VT measurement method for asymmetric stereoscopic images is proposed. The proposed method first extracts stereoscopic features from left and right images with singular value decomposition, and the relationship between stereoscopic features and quality score is established with support vector regression (SVR). Finally, the SVR model is used to test specific stereoscopic images, and the objective VT is measured by statistical analyses. The experimental results show that the VT is related to the content of stereoscopic image and the quality of left view, and when the PSNR of left view is larger than 35dB, the VT value can exceed 2dB.

One of the key and difficult technologies in the 3DTV system is the generation of the depth. In general, the demands for accuracy and real-time execution cannot be satisfied at the same time. With the development of the algorithms, some local methods are more suitable, but the challenge is to decide an appropriate window for each pixel. We propose a novel local method, which constructs the support windows adaptively only based on the intensity. Our bilateral filtering algorithm is depending on the information of color image so that the edge can be kept clearly. All of the algorithms are based on GPU so that the effectiveness is higher. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm, it has been tested on the benchmark Middlebury stereo database. The results show that our algorithm has comparable efficiency, and hence it is promising for practical application.

Virtual view rendering is one of the key technologies to realize three-dimensional television (3DTV). Because of the depth value's discontinuity in the depth map, there are lots of holes in the rendered virtual view image. To solve this problem, depth map pre-processing methods are proposed and analyzed in this paper. The number of holes resulted from 3D warping is counted, and the virtual view images obtained from different reference views are fused. Finally, the number of holes in the fused virtual view image is also counted, and the quality of virtual view image is evaluated to measure the effect of depth map pre-processing. Experimental results show that the proposed pre-processing method can effectively reduce the number of holes and improve the quality of rendered virtual view image.

Content based 3D model Retrieval (CB3DR) is proved to be limited in performance due to the semantic gap between
low-level feature distance and high-level user intention. In order to capture semantics from models, we propose a new
framework which generates semantic subspaces for each category via corresponding variances of feature vectors. Then
vectorial and numerical semantic labels are composed from semantic subspaces. In the end, a Laplacian Eigenmaps
based manifold learning method is enhanced by these semantic labels and experiment results show an improvement in
performance with respect to classical Laplacian Eigenmaps method.

Unstructured road segmentation plays an important role in visual guiding navigation for intelligent vehicle. A novel vision-based road
segmentation method that combined the Otsu double-threshold method with the maximum entropy double-threshold method was
proposed to handle those problems caused by illumination variations and road surface dilapidation. Spatial correlation by analyzing
the grey-level histogram of the original image and temporal correlation by matching of the selected referenced region was used to
estimate the coarse range of the road region. Road segmentation experiments executed in different road scenes have demonstrate that
the method proposed in this paper is robust against illumination variations and surface dilapidation.

We present a novel motion planning method for intelligent vehicle with long-range perception under the uncertain constraints of unstructured road boundary on the basis of obstacle roadside fusion strategy and beam curvature method . Not only does this method inherit the advantages of reliability, smoothness and speediness from LCM, but also it can produce more reasonable path than traditional LCM does by virtue of the global information acquired by long-range sensors.

Through the analysis of the cloud storage, cloud computing technology and characteristics of the remote sensing data, a method of mass remote sensing data stored in the cloud is put forward in this paper. Combined with the characteristics of remote sensing data and its processing algorithm, three program designing ideas, namely making data parallel, algorithm parallel and data algorithm nested parallel are proposed. By comparing the experimental results, realization of remote sensing data parallel processing based on cloud platform shows the superiority of the technical solution.

In the publishing and printing applications, hidden data is embedded into images for copyright protection and ownership generally. Based on the multi-resolution halftone watermarking (MRHW), adaptive multi-resolution halftone watermarking algorithm (AMRHW) is proposed in the paper. According to the characteristics of the carrier image, the pixels of the watermark halftone image are embedded into the position of the minimal impact in the carrier image, and the locations of these pixels are stored in the decoding matrix. Then, the carrier image is processed by error diffusion, and thus the watermarked image is obtained. In the watermark extraction process, according to the data of the decoding matrix, the corresponding pixels are extracted and grouped together. The watermark image is viewed directly. The results show that the AMRHW can obtain better quality of the embedding than the MRHW, while the decoding matrix can ensure great security of the watermark image.

Symmetric Self Electro-optic Effect Device's (S-SEED's) basic structure and operation principles are described. Based on its purely capacitive model, the relationship between bit rate and bias/input optical power/input wavelength of S-SEED all-optical buffer is obtained by theoretical analysis. S-SEED all-optical buffer operation bit rates with different biases, input optical powers and input wavelengths are compared. The results reveal that S-SEED buffer bit rate could be effectively enhanced with a low bias or a high input power, and different input wavelengths almost have no influence on its bit rate.

Aiming at these problems in real-time measurement about multiple targets in large scale, we propose a vision measuring method with CCD Rotation Ranging System (CRRS) to achieve the dynamic measurement with high-accuracy. CRRS is composed of mechanical rotating platform and Area scan CCD camera. The CCD camera is fixed on a mechanical rotating platform which is droved by motor. Firstly, we calibrate the CCD camera before the measurement. Secondly, the two CCD cameras is revolved and pitched by the rotating platform to measure a fixed field of the large area with high precision. The two CCD cameras composed of a Binocular stereo vision system to measure the local coordinates of the target. Thirdly, the poses of two CCD cameras are got from the rotating platform, so we can translate the local coordinates of target to the global coordinates. The experiment results show that, the measurement device can measure the targets precisely and efficiently, with non-contact the rotation CCD probe.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), an emerging technique for materials quantitative analysis, is rapidly maturing and is becoming increasingly accepted as an important tool for the metal detection. In this paper, a LIBS system with a 10 Hz Q-switched Nd: YAG ns laser at 1064 nm was employed to research the metal element Cr in plant leaves. Refer to NIST atomic database, the metal element Cr is identified in the soaked sample. According to statistical methods and spectrum analysis software, the calibration curve of the metal element Cr was obtained in our laboratory. The correlation coefficient of calibration curve is 0.97394 for Cr 425.43 nm and 0.94005 for Cr 427.48 nm respectively. The experimental results show LIBS technique is a fast and effective tool for detecting and analyzing the relative intensity of the metal elements and provides the basis of the rapid and continuous detection for plant metal.

Predicted by fundamental theory to exhibit a broadband ultrafast saturable absorption, graphene has been demonstrated as a practical saturable absorber for mode-locking technology. Here, we report our investigation on the saturable absorption of graphene in the nanosecond and femtosecond regime. It is found that the saturation intensity of graphene is sensitive to the pulse duration and can be explained by a photodynamic model. In addition, the spectral dependence of saturation intensity in graphene is also presented.

According to the instantaneous estimate of sub-channel, adaptive allocation technology dynamically allocated number of bits transmitted and the transmit power, optimizing the overall performance of OFDM system. Having described the two basic principles of adaptive power allocation in the OFDM, and on the basis of this principle detailedly discussed three kinds of algorithms: adaptive bit allocation algorithm that is based on the capacity optimization, optimum power allocation algorithm based on the best bit error rate and the second-best power distribution algorithm. Through the system simulation using MATLAB software, characteristics and performance of three kinds of algorithms are analyzed and compared, which are in different channels and environments . Simulation results show that adaptive allocation technology can optimize the capacity of the system and bit error rate.

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is expected to be deployed in intersection to monitor the traffic flow continuously, and
the monitoring datum can be used as the foundation of traffic light control. In this paper, a WSN based on ZigBee
protocol for monitoring traffic flow is proposed. Structure, hardware and work flow of WSN nodes are designed.
CC2431 from Texas Instrument is chosen as the main computational and transmission unit, and CC2591 as the
amplification unit. The stability experiment and the actual environment experiment are carried out in the last of the paper.
The results of experiments show that WSN has the ability to collect traffic flow information quickly and transmit the
datum to the processing center in real time.

Photocathode materials with lower surface doping density need longer time to arise photocurrent during the first cesium
activation process when the system's vacuum level is not high enough, and which can be found from the photocurrent
curves arising during the activation process for Negative-electron-affinity (NEA) GaAs photocathodes. Meanwhile,
with the enhancement of system's vacuum level, these differences in time will be not obvious. It is indicated that the
adsorption efficiency of cesium on cathode surface has direct relationship with the surface doping density and the
system's vacuum level, therefore, a mathematical model of which is established according to the experimental data in
order to analyze the relationship quantitively. The simulation results by the model are in good agreement with the
experimental phenomenon. This study is very important for further investigations on the structure design and
preparation techniques for varied doping GaAs photocathode materials.

According to the ratio of the maximum values of photocurrents arising during the single Cs activation and the Cs-O
activation phase for NEA GaAs photocathode, and combining the theoretical energy distributions of the electrons
tunneling through the single and double potential barriers, a new method for evaluating the parameters of surface
potential barrier of NEA GaAs photocathode was presented. The results obtained by this method greatly accord with the
double-dipole model theory, and are in agreement with the results obtained by fitting the experimental curve for
electrons energy distribution. The method is simple and available, and enriches one cheap approach for evaluating the
activation effect and the surface characteristics of NEA GaAs photocathodes.

Considering uncertain external disturbance, the model of automatic position control system is established. Then,
according to the information of input and output, using extended states observer (ESO), a newer observer is proposed to
observe and compensate this integrated disturbance, and a controller is designed based on active disturbance rejection

The simplified transfer function diagram block for a automatic flatness control (AFC) system of strip steel rolling
process was investigated. For the problem of automatic flatness control (AFC) in cold tandem mills this paper proposes
control techniques based on Smith predictor to compensate for the numerous delays present in the mill. After a Smith
predictor was used to the AFC system, the control laws were deduced for both proportional and integral regulators.
Control algorithms are tested in simulation considering a tandem mill with four stands as a benchmark, and results are
shown to demonstrate the performance of the proposed schemes.

A reliable model for wastewater treatment plant is essential in providing a tool for predicting its performance and to form
a basis for controlling the operation of the process. This would minimize the operation costs and assess the stability of
environmental balance. For the multi-variable, uncertainty, non-linear characteristics of the wastewater treatment system,
an artificial fish school neural network prediction model is established standing on actual operation data in the
wastewater treatment system. The model overcomes several disadvantages of the conventional BP neural network. The
results of model calculation show that the predicted value can better match measured value, played an effect on
simulating and predicting and be able to optimize the operation status. The establishment of the predicting model
provides a simple and practical way for the operation and management in wastewater treatment plant, and has good
research and engineering practical value.

also constructed CSR evaluation system based on KLD index, GRJ report, CSR accounting account, SA8000, ISO14000
etc. The research provides a basis for future studies about the relationship between CSR and business performance and

The internal model control principle is analyzed in this paper, basis for large inertia and nonlinear characters of a
liquid-level control system, a highly robust multiple internal model controller is designed in the paper, and it is used in
the three-container liquid level control system. The theory analysis and the experimental results show that the proposed
method parameter adjustment is simple, small overshoot; the system can obtain good dynamic and static performance.

In this paper a nonlinear photonic crystal optical limiter structure for TE modes is proposed. The photonic crystal used
for this purpose is a triangular lattice of holes in a GaAs substrate. Nonlinear Kerr effect is used to trigger the switching
mechanism. A straight forward method for designing the limiter is hereby presented. Finite difference time domain
(FDTD) and plane wave expansion (PWE) methods are used to analyze the structure. The nonlinear optical Kerr effect is
n2 = 2.7x10-9m
2/W and a switching power of 15W is obtained in this case. There is a 12dB contrast ratio between the
ON and OFF states of the limiter.

One effective implementation of the High-resolution Red-ray Optical Disk File System (HRDFS), which is used for next
generation optical storage system's authoring software, is presented in this paper. Logic Format of HRDFS will be
introduced firstly. And the algorithms of constructing HRD directory structure, writing directory structure and file data
will be focused on. Moreover, the experimental results of testing this implementation will be shown to prove the
correctness and effectiveness of the algorithms. Overall, the HRDFS module, which is employed for translating common
media streams into those of HRD format, is the essential part of HRD Authoring System. As the design is based on the
view of HRD authoring system, it partly provides an efficient implementation way for HRD authoring system.

Conventional PCA usually uses total scatter matrix as a generation matrix, and two dimension image matrices must be
transformed into vectors. In this paper, the between-class matrix generated by original image and its eigenvectors were
used to feature extracting. First we compressed the image in horizon direction using 2DPCA, then we compressed the
feature matrix in vertical direction. Thus, the dimension of features is lesser and the speed of classification is faster. At
the same time the category information is fully used and the recognition rate are improved.

This study aims to analyze customers' online word-of-mouth for crafts in Cultural and Creative Industries of Taiwan,
and extracts articles from Yahoo and Wretch Blogs by the online writing mining technique. The research scope is from
Jan. 1, 2008 to Dec. 31, 2010. The subjects include 2457 valid articles on customers' online word-of-mouth regarding
the craft industry of Taiwan. Findings demonstrate that, regarding online word-of-mouth, the most important
word-of-mouth items of ceramics, stone craft, wood craft manufacturing, and metal craft is decoration and display of
surroundings; while brand is valued in glass craft; and the most important item for consumers of paper craft is cultural
characteristics of handicrafts.

This study aims to probe into customers' online word-of-mouth regarding cultural heritage applications and performance facilities in Cultural and Creative Industries. Findings demonstrate that, regarding online word-of-mouth for art museums, museums, and art villages, items valued by customers are design aesthetics of displays and collections, educational functions, and environments and landscapes. The percentages are 10.102%, 11.208% and 11.44%, respectively. In addition, cultural heritage applications and performance facility industries in Taiwan are highly valued in online word-of-mouth.

At present, network environment follow protocol standard of IPV4 is intended to do the best effort of network to provide network applied service for users, however, not caring about service quality.Thus the packet loss rate is high, it cannot reach an ideal applied results. This article through the establishment of mathematical model, put forward a new distributed multi QOS routing algorithm, given the realization process of this distributed QOS routing algorithm, and simulation was carried out by simulation software. The results show the proposed algorithm can improve the utilization rate of network resources and the service quality of network application.

This paper introduces an easy way to measure melamine. Exploiting the near infrared spectral reflective characteristic of
melamine, irradiating the samples with broad spectrum light and the reflected beam goes to the appropriate optical
system and optical collimation lens through the optical fibre transmission. Then select a 500nm and a 1000nm
wavelengths. The light intensity of the 1000nm wavelength basically does not change as the denseness of melamine
changes, while the light intensity of the 500nm wavelength does. According to this feature, people can use the electro
optical technology which can turn optical signal into electrical signal to calculate the circuit voltage difference, and then
input it into the computer to determine the concentration of melamine in milk. This method is time-saving and
convenient.

Since the CPT system is a complex higher-order nonlinear system, it is very difficult to meet the control requirements if
the traditional control method is used to control the stability of the system. In this paper, a performance simulation study
is performed by introducing the PID neural network controller into the Phase-Shifted Full-Bridge CPT system.
Compared with the control effects of traditional PID controllers, the PID neural network controllers have better dynamic
responses and more robustness under load rapid changes and input step disturbances.

It is important that high precision positioning system to cope with development of semiconductor and FPD
manufacturing/inspection procedure. In this paper, the H type stage with flexure joint was proposed to compensate the yaw
error in H type stage caused by manufacturing error, assembly error, and synchronous error. To implement the yaw motion
in H type stage, 1 rotational DOF flexure joint which has high stiffness and endurance was proposed. Conceptual design of
H type stage was performed to follow the criteria for precision machine design. The performance of H type stage was
verified by real time experiment.

A new method for chromosome pairing of amphioxus using digital image processing technology is studyed in this paper, selects chromosome banding image of amphioxus Branchiostoma belcheri tsingtauense as experimental material, According to objective data obtained from the program, this method improves the subjective pairing method which uses image processing software to measure long arm and short arm of the chromosome. The results show that the pairing method is effective, accurate and practical. This study has important theoretical and practical significance for further study of chromosome gene mapping and cell genetics of amphioxus.

Traditional filtering methods can't eliminate the effect of interfering signals on steering wheel angle and extract useful
signal effectively.Regarding to this, a new method based on wavelet transform is presented.According to the Mallat
algorithm, firstly, the signal is decomposed into seven layers by selecting db7 wavelet.Aiming at every layer detail signal
after wavelet decomposing, the soft-threshold filtering method is employed to eliminate noises, then the inverse wavelet
transform is used to reconstruct the filtered signal.The experimental results show that this method can effectively eliminate
awful noises and achieve a good performance.

This paper introduces a simulated annealing algorithm for solving the linear constrained optimization problems. The
performance of this algorithm is demonstrated with Rosenbrock function global optimal problem. Then the design of
cooling schedule and the influence of various controlling parameters are discussed. From the results, it is evident that the
quality of the obtained optimal solution is closely related to the iterative times. There are three parameters related to the
iterative times, and the most important influence parameter is markov chain.

The tracking window used by object tracking method based on mean shift algorithm is usually regular in shape. Thus, it
is inevitable to introduce some background information into object model. This problem becomes worse while the
moving object is irregular in shape. Aiming at this problem, this paper proposes an improved mean shift algorithm based
on target mask matrix (MSTMM). TMM is acquired through background subtraction. On the basis, a new method for
building object model is proposed. Experiment results show that MSTMM algorithm succeeds in excluding the
background information from object model, and the accuracy of moving object localization is improved.

Virtual instrument was widely used in automatic measurement and control system, nonlinear calibration was necessary in
the science research and high-precise measurement. Nonlinear calibration method with RBFNN was proposed in this paper
for ANN's ability of self-learning and generalization and GA was introduced to optimize its structure and parameters. The
structure of RBFNN was created and optimizing algorithm was proposed, the fundamental of nonlinear calibration was
introduced. The simulation shows RBFNN with optimized by GA can greatly increase the convergence speed and
precision, nonlinear calibration with ANN was feasible and the precision was obviously improved, this method can be used
into automatic measure system effectively.

The model selection for the chamber structure of large-scale navigation lock has a great influence on the quantities of
chamber. This paper combines with an actual engineering to analysis the chamber structure of navigation lock with the
help of 3D finite element. The analysis result shows that the chamber structure with double-hinges bottom board can
reduce the thickness and reinforcement quantity of center inner bottom plating, bending moment of center inner bottom
bottom plate is smaller than other times, because the chamber wall can't transfer bending moment to center inner bottom
plate with the role of hinges. The chamber structure with monolithic bottom board which is pointed construction joints also
can reduce reinforcement quantity and engineering investment by decreasing span moment of center inner bottom plate,
considering the weights of chamber wall and back fill has effects on the preloading of foundation in internal force analysis
of the chamber structure.

In order to overcome the slow convergence rate and large steady-state mean square error of constant modulus algorithm
(CMA), a concurrent constant modulus algorithm and multi-modulus algorithm scheme for high-order QAM signals is
proposed, which makes full use of the character which is that the high-order QAM signals locate in the different modulus.
This algorithm uses the CMA as the basal mode. And in the second mode it uses the multi-modulus algorithm.
Furthermore, the two modes operate concurrently. The efficiency of the method is proved by computer simulations in
underwater acoustic channels.

Stress-magnetic effect experiment system was established, which is composed of stress loading device, magnetizer, magnetic flux density measuring device, control and acquisition device. By measuring the magnetic parameters of cable under stress, series of magnetization curve and permeability curve of cable were derived. Image binarization is an important processing technology. This paper presents a new image binarization method based on
dynamic gradient and global threshold. Firstly, a binary image A is generated by using the Otsu's method. Then, a binary
image B is gotten with the dynamic gradient method. Lastly, the final binarization image C results from the logic AND
operation using A and B. The experimental result shows that the method presented in this paper can preserve details and
edges effectively compared with other binarization methods.

Urban sprawl is a worldwide phenomenon especially in fast developing regions of China which is a typical representative. The study on the spatiotemporal characteristics of urban sprawl and urban pattern is useful for land sustainable management and urban land planning. This research explores the spatiotemporal dynamics of urban sprawl in the context of a rapid urbanization process in a booming economic region of southern China from 1979 to 2005. Three urban sprawl types are distinguished based on analyzing overlaid urban area maps of each two adjacent study years which originates from the interpretation of remote sensed images and the vector land use maps. The landscape metrics are used to analyze the spatiotemporal pattern of urban sprawl for each study period. The study results show that urban areas have expanded dramatically, and the spatiotemporal landscape pattern configured by three sprawl types changed obviously.

In hard disk drives (HDDs), head skew among multiple heads is pre-calibrated during manufacturing process. In real
applications with high capacity of storage, the head stack may be tilted due to environmental change, resulting in additional
head skew errors from outer diameter (OD) to inner diameter (ID). In case these errors are below the preset threshold for
power on recalibration, the current strategy may not be aware, and drive performance under severe environment will be
degraded. In this paper, in-the-field compensation of small DC head skew variation across stroke is proposed, where a zone
table has been equipped. Test results demonstrating its effectiveness to reduce observer error and to enhance drive
performance via accurate prediction of DC head skew are provided.

The stochastic resonance (SR) for a stochastic bistable system driven by a dichotomous noise and a periodic signal as
well as by additive white noise is considered from the view of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). It is found that the SNR
appears SR behavior when it is plotted as a function of the strengths of the noises and as a function of the parameters of
the stochastic potential. The influence of the correlation rate of the dichotomous noise on the SNR is studied.

In this paper, a geotechnical ring shear apparatus and its utilization in the geotechnical tests of studying soil properties were introduced. The testing methods and technology of studying the static and dynamic mechanical properties of soils under large shear displacement were elaborated. It was found that, under the testing conditions of fast shear rate and dynamic loadings, the soil samples present very different features in contrast with the normal shear tests. The discrepancy can be attributed to the marked variations of pore pressure and geomorphology of shear band in the tests.

In this paper, we present a tandem fuzzy-neural network approach and Reduced Memory Levenberg-Marquardt training approach combining unsupervised and supervised learning techniques to develop the Tactical Mission and Train Decision System (TMTDS). Experiment results clearly demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed technique.

In order to fast mine spatial association rules and improve efficiency of mobile intelligent system, this paper proposes an
algorithm of alternative search spatial association rules mining. The algorithm firstly uses the way of spatial buffer analysis
to extract spatial predicate values, and then uses spatial predicate value of every target location to form a spatial transaction
and turns it into integer by binary coding, finally uses iteration method of alternative search to extract spatial association
rules, namely, not only does it use iteration method of gaining (L-1)-subset of L-non frequent itemsets to generate
candidate frequent itemsets, it also uses iteration method of gaining (K+1)-superset of K-frequent itemsets to generate
candidate frequent itemsets. The result of simulate experiment indicates that the algorithm is faster and more efficient than
present mining algorithms when mining spatial association rules in mobile computing.

Data Mining have many research points. Mining association rules is one of the important hotspot. CRM is to achieve the needs of customers and to enhance the strength with customers for enterprise. To sovle the different importance and unbalance of individual items in database, the paper will put the emphasis on mining the weighted association rules in analysis CRM. Analysis CRM in axletree firms is proposed based on integrating of data mining and association rules. This paper propose the algorithm Unid_FTP-TREE for frequent itemset in a unidirectional FTP-Tree. Algorithm analysis and experiments show that the Unid_FTP-TREE consumes more space and time than the mwf for the dense data.

with the urban environment geographical database are worked out, and the urban environment database checking and
accepting system is being analyzed and function being designed in this thesis, and finally the urban environment database
checking and accepting system software is developed with the explorative instruments of Delphi and VC. With
computer-aided inspection and manual sampling checking, all the aspects of the database have strict quality control and

Land intensified utilization is an important part of land utilization research. Using the artificial neural network model (ANN) to evaluate a city's level of land utilization intensity, it will eliminate the negative impact of subjective factor which is used to assess and complex calculate. As a result, the assessment results would be more scientific and objectively. Based on intensity of land investment, land utilization intensity and land utilization efficiency, an intensive land conservation evaluation system is established with application of status of Lanzhou City's urban land. After training by testing data, BP artificial neural network was applied to evaluate the level of intensified utilization form 1988-2008 in Lanzhou. The results shown that the urban land utilization of Lanzhou is on the upward trend and that can be divided into three categories: low, moderate and intensive.

Based on the sift research and changing data of land use from 1996 to 2008, the current situation and changes of land-use
spatial structure in Tianshui were analyzed by applying GIS technology and quantitative geographic model. The results
indicated that there were obvious internal differences in land-use spatial structure. Firstly, the diversity index of spatial
structure was comparatively high; Secondly, the garden plots and transportation land increased obviously, though the
index of land use degree fluctuates little since 1996, decreasing slightly as a whole; Thirdly, the information entropy of
land use increased generally, and the total land use tended to random, the disorder degree of lands begins to increase and
the types of land use are in a period of adjustment.

The existence of spatial dependence breaks the basic assumption that the samples are independent of each other in most
of the classical methods of statistical analysis. Supported by GIS, we used the method of spatial autocorrelation analysis
to make a preliminary analysis of the population spatial differences and distribution characteristics in various districts
and counties in Gansu Province in 2006. The results showed that the population distribution in Gansu have positive
spatial correlationship, and presented a significant spatial aggregating feature. But from local spatial autocorrelation
analysis, we can see that the relevance of regional distribution of population in majority of Gansu is not significant,
indicating that these regions within a certain range had not form regional growth poles with strong attraction. This
conclusion can serve better for the formulation of population policies and sustainable development strategy of the
economy and society.

factors through factor analyses on influencing factors of integrated production capacity of foodstuff in each province.
Then we arrange the factor score, analyze the result of each large foodstuff province and ultimately give out feasible
suggestions.

The role of this ontology is to provide a shared vocabulary and semantics between domain knowledge and vision. Ontology presents semantics for interpreting data instances. Formal concept lattices and rough set theory are two kinds of complementary mathematical tools for data analysis and data processing. The paper proposes the method of constructiong ontology nodes information system based on rough formal concept analysis in order to constructing the ontology model of knowledge management. Experimental studies are done with rough set and FCA in constructing the numbers of ontology nodes. The experimental results indicate that this method has great promise and is showing that ROUGH SET is superior to FCA in building the numbers of ontology nodes.

Aiming at the problem of convergence difficulty and big the residue MSE existed in high-order QAM signal equalization
and on the basis of analyzing on the MMA, T/4FSE and coherent integration algorithm, Coherent Integration based T/4
Fractionally Spaced Multi-Modulus blind equalization Algorithm (CI- T/4FSMMA) is proposed in this paper. In the
proposed algorithm, the fractionally spaced multi-modulus equalizer is union with the coherent integration algorithm.
The simulation results of underwater acoustic channel with 128 QAM signal have shown that the proposed algorithm has
not only faster convergence speed but also the smaller residue MSE error.

Peer-to-Peer network takes more and more important role in the internet life and is studied by more and more researchers.
This paper constructs multi-layer topologies according to users' requirements based on existing algorithms and p2p routing
topology. From the existing base topology, new virtual topology rules can be constructed as required in which each virtual
node corresponds to a node in the original topology. During resource locating in a multi-layer p2p system, the user can
perform searches in different topologies as desired. The search efficiency can thus be improved as the routing and locating
will not be constrained by the original routing rules.

We computed the ratio of China's vertical specialization with revising method of Hummels et al. (2001). We found that China's export
has the traits of processing trade, and Asian countries are the main exporter of intermediate goods to China; there is strong positive
relationship between export ratio and ratio of China's vertical specialization, indicates that importing of intermediate goods play an
important role in China's industry upgrading, China's comparative advantage of export still lies in low price of labor; even if China's
production still locates in low value added stage in international supply chain, but China has began to advance its industry structure, and
change the mode of production and trade that rely processing trade too much.

In the marine environment, the contrast of the marine images is often extraordinarily low and it hardly guarantee the perfect processing results due to scattering and absorption of a variety of suspended matter in sea water and the water itself. If the gathered marine images are directly used to image segmentation, over-segmentation or error-segmentation may happen. Therefore, image enhancement is an essential prerequisite to image segmentation. In this paper, according to the characteristic of marine image, at the premise of the timeliness, introduces a color space conversion model, and then a new approach of fuzzy enhancement based on modified fuzzy partition entropy is proposed, which by full use of the statistical properties of the histogram, and then the crossover point of the fuzz enhancement is determined by the maximum of the modified fuzzy partition entropy.

To gain insights into the neural basis of such adaptive decision-making processes, we investigated the nature of learning process in humans playing a competitive game with binary choices, using a matching pennies game. As in reinforcement learning, the subject's choice during a competitive game was biased by its choice and reward history, as well as by the strategies of its opponent. Analyses of ERP data focused on the feedback-related negativity (FRN), we found that the magnitude of ERPs after losing to the computer opponent predicted whether subjects would change decision behavior on the subsequent trial. These findings provide novel evidence that humans engage a reinforcement learning process to adjust representations of competing decision options.

The non-ideal theoretical correlation characteristics of traditional spread spectrum sequences prevent researchers from further
decreasing the multi-path and multi-access interference in a CDMA communication system. Complementary sequence sets were
brought about to be a prospective candidate for future spread spectrum systems due to their ideal correlation characteristics. In this
paper, basic concepts of complementary sequence sets are presented, followed by some analysis on their advantages over regular spread
spectrum sequences when employed in a CDMA system. Subsequently, a special complementary sequence set called Bridge Function
Sequence set is introduced regarding its basic concept and construction method. Finally, theoretical proof of bridge function sequence
sets' complementarity, to some extent, paves the way for their potential applications in future CDMA communication systems.

Using traditional strip method to predict the longitudinal motion of the hybrid monohull, the predicted results are very
different from test results, it can not reflect the effect of the built-up appendage. This paper presents a method to predict the
longitudinal motion of hybrid monohull by using computational fluid dynamics software. In this paper, FLUENT software
is used to calculate the radiation force of three-dimensional hull which slightly heaving and pitching on free surface, and
the lift force of built-up appendage with several attack angles. According to the force calculated by using FLUENT, it
further calculates the viscous hydrodynamic coefficients of the hull and the lift force coefficients of the built-up
appendage. At last, it predicts the longitudinal motion of the hybrid monohull by STF method. The research shows that, the
predicted results of three-dimensional viscous corrected method fit the test results well.

It is need to obtain the hydrologic data including ocean current,wave, temperature and so on in South China Sea. A new
profiling instrument which doesn't suffer from nature forces or incidents caused by passing ships is under development to
recover data from this area. It incorporates a small, instrumented vertically profiling float attached via an
electromechanical cable to a winch integral with the main subsurface flotation. On a pre-set schedule, the instrument float
carrying sensors is winched up to the surface and defined by an on-board miniature sonar if there is no ship passing by. It
can be immediately winched down to a certain depth if the sonar sensor finds something is coming. Because of logistics,
the area can only be visited once for a long time and a minimum of 10 times per day. So the system has been designed to
conserve a substantial portion of the potential energy and subsequently use this energy to pull the instrument down.

In this paper, the design and development of an automatic weather station monitoring is described. The proposed system
consists of a set of sensors for measuring meteorological parameters (temperature, wind speed & direction, rain fall,
visibility, etc.). To increase the reliability of the system, wind speed & direction are measured redundantly with duplicate
sensors. The sensor signals are collected by the data logger CR1000 at several analog and digital inputs. The CR1000 and
the sensors form a completely autonomous system which works with the other systems installed in the container.
Communication with the master PC is accomplished over the method of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) with the
Compact Caimore6550P CDMA DTU. The data are finally stored in tables on the CPU as well as on the CF-Card. The
weather station was built as an efficient autonomous system which operates with the other systems to provide the required
data for a fully automatic measurement system.

Existing approaches to non-rigid structure from motion assume that the instantaneous 3-D shape of a deformable object is a liner combination of basic shapes, which have to be estimated anew for each video sequence. In this paper we propose a new method which is based on physical continuity of non-rigid motion. In non-rigid motion, the displacement between consecutive frames makes little difference. We define some centroid points and their displacements between each feature point as constraints in objective function. Then we use non-linear optimization method to find motion and structure parameters. Finally, this algorithm is used to reconstruct 3-D structure of a person's face. Experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed method.

by Google Earth, can enhance the experience of media interaction, improve cultural interaction as well as multi-level

To investigate the difference of the selected-rate of undergraduates' depression with respect to time, gender and scales and
the intervention effect of embodied exercise, 201 Undergraduates were measured with Self-Rating Depression Scale and
Beck Depression Inventory (BDI).The result shows there are significant difference of the selected-rates of undergraduates'
depression resulted from long-time interval rather than from short-time interval and gender. After the intervention, the
selected-rates are decreased and no significant difference has been found between the embodied groups and the controlled
group. Only the embodied groups maintain the better effects of the intervention in the tracking. Also the result shows that
only the participants of embodied groups obtain more positive emotional experience. We conclude that there is significant
difference of selected-rate of undergraduates' depression on scales, and the embodied exercise can effectively reduce
undergraduate's depression.

On the key problem of ineffective representation of uncertain variables in complex system simulation, the
semi-quantitative method of uncertain variable based on group decision and cloud model is proposed to process the
uncertain data. Then the uncertain knowledge induction based on cloud model is proposed. The induction process and
method is given in the paper. This method is combined with the merit of conversion and fusion quantitative and qualitative
of cloud model in induction. Lastly the summary and future research is given at the end of study.

In this paper Multi-Objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithm is utilized to solve the problem for
cooperative multiple target assignment, which is the optimization problem in the discrete search space. At first a model
of multi-objective optimization for Cooperative Multiple Target Assignment is established. Aiming to solve out the local
convergence phenomenon, the chaos mutation is introduced into PSO for improving global optimal ability. Another
underlying problem is that computing speed of the algorithm must meet the operational requirement, so a new kind of
Chaos-MOPSO Algorithm is developed to solve the target assignment problem with less population and iterations. At
last an authentication example is given in this paper, compared with basic MOPSO and NSGA-II, the Chaos-MOPSO
algorithm obtained a better Pareto solution set with smaller computational burden.

A digital speckle correlation method (DSCM) to measure surface displacements and strains have been developed. The
correlate search algorithm plays an important role in DSCM. The traditional correlate search algorithms depend on initial
value selection seriously. For this defect, this paper presents DSCM which uses genetic algorithm (GA) to measure
surface deformation. In order to overcome the premature convergence of tradition genetic algorithm, this paper utilizes
multi-parent crossover and adaptive mutation probability to perform genetic operation. The simulation demonstrates that
improved GA increases the speed and the precision of search. With the application of DSCM in measuring deformation
of composite laminates, the test reveals an agreement with the anticipated result.

A new Spatial Diversity Equalizer (SDE) based on phase-locked loop (PLL) is proposed to overcome the inter-symbol
interference (ISI) and phase rotations simultaneously in the digital communication system. The proposed SDE consists of
equal gain combining technique based on a famous blind equalization algorithm constant modulus algorithm (CMA) and a
PLL. Compared with conventional SDE, the proposed SDE has not only faster convergence rate and lower residual error
but also the ability to recover carrier phase rotation. The efficiency of the method is proved by computer simulation.

The constant modulus algorithm (CMA) for blind equalization requires a separate carrier-recovery system for phase
recovery. A modified CMA, called the multimodulus algorithm (MMA), which may perform joint blind equalization and
carrier recovery without the need for a separate carrier-recovery system for quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM)
signal constellations. This letter mathematically analyzes the steady-state mean square error (MSE) of MMA. Analysis
results indicate that MMA produces 50% fewer steady-state MSE than CMA.

Computer-based College English Test Band 4(CET-4) has been one of the most talked about issue over the recent 4 years. The principal aim of this study was to evaluate the validity of computer-based CET-4 by comparing and analyzing the performance of test takers from a paper-and-pencil based CET-4 and a computer-based one which are taken by the same 50 students of Southwest University at the same week. The second goal was to assess test takers' acceptance of the computer-based CET-4. A questionnaire, which was distributed to the 50 test takers, concerning acceptance of computer-based CET-4, total computer attitude and familiarity with computers was generated by a review of literature. Attitudes about the CET-4 were moderately positive. The validity of computer-based CET-4 was also confirmed. Limitations and possible future research concerning the test were proposed in this study.

The wind environment in Sanshui River Bridge surrounding is very complex. Through the simulation on the wind tunnel
test of bridge terrain, this thesis studies how the wind characteristic parameter varies as the wind direction changes and
the influence of its surrounding. Experiment results show that due to surrounding terrain, the wind profile of some wind
angle are not in accordance with the exponential distribution .When the wind direction is corresponded to the trend of the
river valley, the average exponent of wind profile is smaller than those of any other; the turbulence s near the side slope
in the valley are relatively larger and the turbulence of the bridge middle main span is larger than 15%; there is no
obvious accelerative effect in bridge location; turbulence integral scale does not change as much as turbulence intensity;
the power spectrum of fluctuating wind is greatly influenced by mountains and its power is remarkably weakened.

The long-distance ore pipeline transportation is a new and high-tech industry, which is non-polluting, zero emissions, and in line with the strategy needs of national low-carbon economy and energy demand reduction. The long-distance ore transport needs multi-station pumping station transportation, however, the low concentration slurry that does not match the technological requirements, such as slurry head and so on. This paper designs a circulation mud system used in long-distance pipeline transportation, which solves the following issues: (1) the technical pool can't storage water during the period of cleaning mine, so can't meet the needs of non-suspension production; (2) slurry spot cool dry easy to bring serious environmental pollution; (3) the refined iron dug out from the process pool need transport to iron and steel industry, trucking transportation needs a huge costs. Experience has shown that the system effectively improve the production efficiency and propagate.

Long-distance pipeline transportation of iron ore is a very good method to solve the iron ore delivering outside, and also suitable for the western complicated terrain and convenient traffic. Before the pipeline transporting the slurry, you need a low concentration of slurry (slurry concentration of less than 68%) that is concentrated and then transport to the mixing tank to mix uniformly. There will be a small amount of selected birth to mine in the upper reaches of the production process, which resulting concentration of slurry concentrated pool is low, and thus it can not meet the requirements that we have set concentration of slurry concentration, so the slurry can not be sent to the mixing tank, and the production is affected ultimately. Therefore, this paper presents a method of circulatory system and slurry delivery to solve such problems. It has been proved in practice that the system effectively improve the production and generalization efficiently.

Using the wind tunnel test and numerical method, this article analyses the wind-resistant stability of Liujiaxia suspension bridge. Experiment showed that in case of insufficient of flutter stability, wind proof measures should be adopted to optimize performance. Considering the location and the features of the bridge, the central stabilizer, horizontal stabilizer and others are choices for improving the performance. Hoping this research can be used for reference in the field of bridge design.

This paper presents a novel human body motion model based dead reckoning approach. After brief description of system
overview, a new body motion model is given based on the inherent relationship between step frequency and step length
existed in two common motion patterns: walking and running. The parameter calibration of the model is given as well.
Upon receiving the data from sensors, step frequency is first computed by detecting the periodic changing of linear
acceleration in vertical axis, and then the real-time footstep length can be obtained according to the proposed motion
model. Angular velocity measurement produced by vertical gyroscope is filtered and integrated by Kalman filter to
obtain motion direction change. With movement distance and direction in hand, dead-reckoning can be easily carried out.
Experimental results based on real data acquired under different motion patterns show the promising performance of the
system.

This study is to examine the effect of the music of Chopin on working memory and the electrical activity of the brain in different conditions by using event-related potentials (ERPs), adopting n-back experimental paradigm and to study the neuromechanism. Thirty adults performed behavioral experiments with three conditions of music and two levels of n-back task. Fourteen normal adults performed ERP experiments with the same program as the behavioral experiment and the EEG were recorded. Chopin music improved people's working memory and pilot music improved most effectively.P3 peak amplitude decreased as working memory load increased. Especially in high load task, P3 peak amplitude decreased gradually in pilot music, background music and free music condition.

Bus pass-by noise has become one of the main noise sources which seriously disturb the mental and physical health of
urban residents. The key of reducing bus noise is to identify major noise source. In this paper the dynamic transfer
characteristic model in the process of bus acceleration is established, which can quantitatively describe the relationship
between the sound source or vibration source of the vehicle and the response points outside the vehicle; also a test
method has been designed, which can quickly and easily identify the contribution of the bus pass-by noise. Experimental
results show that the dynamic transfer characteristic model can identify the main noise source and their contribution
during the acceleration, which has significance for the bus noise reduction.

In this paper, control and formation flying for the mini quadrotor UAV are studied. First, the quadrotor UAV is modeled
and its simplified mathematical model is given. And then using the traditional PID method in all the designed controller

An adaptive PID control method based on RBF neural network for the free-floating dual-arm space robot's uncertain
system model is proposed in this paper. Bring about the precise control of joints and carrier by the design of the control
algorithm for space robot. Compared to traditional control method, its adaptive ability is stronger and requirement for the
linearization of dynamic equation's inertial parameters is weak. We put it compared to the adaptive PID control method
which is a traditional control methods .Having simulation in the case of luffing, frequency conversion and posture
intrusive. The results of experimental demonstrate the feasibility and practicability of this method.

Based on the geological environment about Fuling district in Chongqing city, eight evaluating indicators on road flooding
subsequently environment along the highway: geological disasters developmental condition, rainstorm intensity, flood
frequency, landform condition, litho-logical condition, average annual rainfall, vegetation coverage and geological
structure, have been chosen. Adopting expert system to double evaluation and using the analysis hierarchy process to
confirm the weight of index, accordingly, the mathematical model of evaluation on subsequently environment is put
forward. On the support of GIS, grid subsequently environmental index and township administrative division subsequently
environmental index, subsequently environment is divided into 4 degrees. They are dangerous zone, high susceptible zone,
middle susceptible zone and low susceptible zone of the floods subsequently environment around highway. The results of
the study indicate that in the total area, dangerous zone, high susceptible zone, middle susceptible zone and low susceptible
zone of road flooding are 11.89%, 41.65%, 32.20% and 14.26% respectively. The results provide some significant
scientific evidence for the further risk evaluation of road flooding.

In this paper, we use two algorithms which include least square fitting and correlation method to test high-speed rotor
balancing at low-speed, and this is a new means of dynamic balance test. For low-speed test system of balancing, based
on the hardware circuit, we use the algorithms supplied by virtual instrument to analyze the fundamental frequency
information of the vibration, and ultimately we come up a testing method with a combination of hardware and software.

The traffic jam becomes the biggest problem in urban area especially in Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia. This is due
to inadequate facilities of public transportation so, people prefers to use the private vehicles. The government has given the
solution to enhance that but it is still not effective and it made the situation of traffic jam became worst. This paper
proposed the Automated Bus System (ABS) to improve the existing system and enhance the traffic jam problem. This bus
system has the ability to ride on his own without relying on any human driver. It can recognize any obstacles and avoid any
collision using stereo vision technology. RFID technology is used to improve the accuracy. Still, this whole system is
monitored by human operators. If there is any failure beyond the ability of system, the human operators could recognize the
problem.

services for gird applications with various requirements on quality of service. Based on the analysis of joint job and
communication resource scheduling in grid-enabled communication networks (GECN), this paper presents a cross
multi-domain communication resource cooperatively scheduling method and describes the main processes such as traffic
requirement resolution for communication services, cross multi-domain negotiation on communication resource,
on-demand communication resource scheduling, and so on. The presented method is to afford communication service
capability to cross-domain traffic delivery in GECNs. Further research work towards validation and implement of the
presented method is pointed out at last.

This paper presents a grid-enabled communication network simulation system, and carries out study on joint scheduling of

In this paper, we address the problem of supporting applications with high bandwidth requirements in Wireless Mesh
Networks (WMN) and develop a Markov analytic framework to study the important performance measures experienced by
SUs in a cognitive radio (CR) based wireless mesh network. Specifically, we study the blocking and forced termination
probabilities and throughput of secondary users under systems with/without spectrum handoff and channel reservation.
Based on this framework, a novel dynamic cognitive channel access control algorithm for wireless mesh networks is
proposed in order to maintain given quality of service (QoS) requirements. Simulation and analysis results show that our
proposed dynamic cognitive channel access control algorithm can maximize the throughput while keeping forced
termination and blocking probabilities of SUs' requests under the desired constraints, which providing a solution to
improve load balance among multipath in wireless mesh networks.

With the help of two ArcView GIS3.x extensions - Mutiple Closest Facilities (MCF) and P/Pl-tools, a new method has
been raised in this paper to calculate the transportation network distance. This method is accessible, simple and practicable,
which can be operated simply. In addition, in this passage the problem how to apply network distance in the urban
development and planning is also analyzed. This passage, which is lighted with SANET3.4, is aimed to recommend the
unique GIS spatial analysis tool based on the calculation of the network distance with cordiality.

Recently Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) has become a major highlight of the communications industry, the
application prospect of which is very broad, and Wireless Bridge (WB) is the core network equipment of WLAN; this
paper firstly introduces the overall function of the Wireless Bridge, conducts a thorough analysis on the characteristics
and relevant technical issues of WB, and proposes the design solution for WB in WLAN of 802.11b based on the
VxWorks embedded operating system, implements two parts of hardware and software, as well as completes the main

Cloud Computing Federation is a main trend of Cloud Computing. Resource Management has significant effect on the
design, realization, and efficiency of Cloud Computing Federation. Cloud Computing Federation has the typical
characteristic of the Complex System, therefore, we propose a resource management architecture based on complex
network theory for Cloud Computing Federation (abbreviated as RMABC) in this paper, with the detailed design of the
resource discovery and resource announcement mechanisms. Compare with the existing resource management
mechanisms in distributed computing systems, a Task Manager in RMABC can use the historical information and current
state data get from other Task Managers for the evolution of the complex network which is composed of Task Managers,
thus has the advantages in resource discovery speed, fault tolerance and adaptive ability. The result of the model
experiment confirmed the advantage of RMABC in resource discovery performance.

The aim of this study is the establishment of the evaluation model for the government-controlled private suppliers for
school lunches in the public middle and primary schools in Miao-Li County. After finishing the literature search and the
integration of the opinions from anonymous experts by Modified Delphi Method, the grade forms from relevant schools in
and outside the Miao-Li County will firstly be collected and the delaminated structures for evaluation be constructed.
Then, the data analysis will be performed on those retrieved questionnaires designed in accordance with the Analytic
Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, the evaluation form for the government-controlled private suppliers can be constructed
and presented in the hope of benefiting the personnel in charge of school meal purchasing.

Ge-Sb-Se chalcogenide glasses is a kind of excellent infrared optical material, which has been enviromental friendly and widely used in infrared thermal imaging systems. However, due to the opaque feature of Se-based glasses in visible spectral region, it's difficult to measure their homogeneity and internal defect as the common oxide ones. In this study, a measurement was proposed to observe the homogeneity and internal defect of these glasses based on near-IR imaging technique and an effective measurement system was also constructed. The testing result indicated the method can gives the information of homogeneity and internal defect of infrared Se-based chalcogenide glass clearly and intuitionally.
