What is the Right Look for a Constellation of Small Satellites?
Author Affiliations +
Abstract
Constellations will look very different depending on what their final purpose is, and the trade-offs that will need to be considered are equally different. This chapter does not address the detailed design of constellations, as there are plenty of texts and papers addressing that aspect in quite some detail. Instead, it looks at the drivers, options, and impact on the cost of the different solutions, as well as the financial advantages of one configuration over the other.
