Abstract

We propose heat pipes as a solution to the CubeSat heat transport challenge. The usage of heat pipes in spacecraft is not new and is a proven technology both in space and on Earth. Heat pipes offer a passive way of transporting heat over both short and long distances. Their operating principle is fully reliant on capillary forces and pressure differences.
