Abstract
Galassia was successfully launched onboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-29 on December 16, 2015 (12:30:00 UTC or 20:30:00 Singapore time) into a near-equatorial orbit (NEqO) at 550 km altitude with a 15-deg inclination. Ground communication with Galassia was established in the following orbit (December 16, 2015, 22:18:00 Singapore time). Galassia remains operational until today and at the time of this writing it has survived way past its intended mission life of one year though the onboard SD card has partially failed.
